This scheme involved the implementation of soft landscape to the Perrodo quad including soiling and drainage. Soft landscape works formed part of a total refurbishment of the landscaped areas in and around the main college. Planting ranged from mature amelanchiers, apple trees and hedging to herbaceous/bulb planting to ensure interest throughout the growing season.
Lawn to main quad was laid on rootzone to accommodate heavy footfall. The location of the site in the centre of Oxford presented some challenging logistics, especially when unloading the larger stock. The installation was carried out within the correct seasonal parameters and was well received by all at St Peter’s. Contractor, designer, project manager and the client worked harmoniously to deliver on time and on budget.
