Overview The scheme sees the major regeneration of a much loved but underused park in Hackney which was originally created as part of the West Hackney Church and is owned by St Paul’s. The site comprised three sequential distinct character areas. The landscape proposals integrate the heritage of the site and create a balance between conservation, ecology and increased visitor activity. Respectful of the history, visitors will be encouraged to explore and enjoy the enclosed landscape with new pedestrian visual connections from surrounding paths increasing a sense of safety.
