Overview When the Royal Kitchen Garden at Hampton Court was finally given up in 1842 in favour of a new one in Frogmore, the garden had served as the primary Royal productive area for over 150 years. The newly constructed Garden now will re-connect Hampton Court Palace with a lost piece of its horticultural history and enable visitors to explore the stories, history and plant collections of the period.
