Isabella Plantation Access Project, London, TW10

Blakedown Landscapes (SE)

Overview The purpose of this project was to improve the existing path network, provide WC facilities and external shelter area, and install benches and a new irrigation system and incoming electric and water services to these facilities for the public who use the park. The new design acts as a template for training disabled groups into accessing woodlands and special interest areas so they are able to interact with nature. The feedback received from The Royal Parks and the park users has been very positive with the client commenting that the design objectives have been more than met and the areas been opened up to more visitors.
